Get up close and personal with the girls - 'the girls in the vineyard' that is ! Rob, Kat and Matt - owners and winemakers of this lovely wine will host and entertaining afternoon of do-it-yourself wine making. Up to 10 participants will try their hands at blending different lots from the girls' cellars to achieve their 'perfect expression of the grape'. We'll compare and critique and prizes will be awarded. To wrap it all up, we'll throw some local grain-fed vittles on the 'barbie' and savor the fruits of your labors with a casual meal - the way all good wine should be enjoyed. Bring a towel and swimsuit in case the work just gets too hot and you need to cool off!

One of the Stars of this year's Musical Theatre Works production, Footloose, shall host a DVD showing of her production at her own home. Come watch Katrien Van Riel play Vi Moore!!! the pre-showing dinner shall include pizza and her father's famous Belgian chocolate mousse for desert. Muir Woods begs to be explored by the curious and the energetic. We go beyond the "tour group" route and wander a labyrinth of hidden trails. Kurt Gantert, Director of Wanderers, a local bay area summer camp, will lead 7 lucky FAMILIES, on this hike. Along the way, Kurt will point out local flora and fauna, engage the kids in fun games, creek exploration and teach lessons on redwood ecology and the history of Muir Woods and John Muir. The is about 4 miles with some steep sections and is appropriate for kids ages 5 and up. Lunches are not provided.

Each booklet provides the details for a self-guided two hour urban adventure for a different part of San Francisco. All adventures include clues and points of interest for the participants to find, like a treasure hunt, and a treasure box is hidden at the end of every hike for the kids to find. The Inman-Fogler family will take you on the first of the 4 adventures in the booklets and show you how it's done and will provide a picnic lunch for you and your family at the mid-way point of the 2-hour adventure.
